Built to be loud, F37 Wanderers is a heavy, wide and commanding neo-grotesque sans serif. The prominent ink-traps, low contrast and tight spacing make it pop in headlines, while the Q’s flat tail makes it easy to set capital leading as tight as possible. F37 Wanderers’ default character set is neutral and versatile, however there are also many eccentric and vibrant alternate letter forms available to punch up your message. Try Stylistic Set 1 for boxy round characters, Stylistic Set 4 for some uniquely dynamic capitals or Stylistic Set 5 for added neutrality, just to name a few. F37 Wanderers covers European latin and is also available in a 10° italic, for even more emphasis.

Tell us about the inspiration behind your collaboration with F37®×. If it was an unused concept, what was the potential use case for it.
We wanted to develop a typeface that was packed full of energy and movement. Something that could reflect our 'Keep Moving Forward' manifesto. Primary use is proposals and presentation decks, but eventually new website and other Nomad branded comms.
When starting the process of creating your font, what typographic conventions did you look to break or experiment with? Or were there conventions of functionality you championed?
We wanted something that would compliment our workhorse typeface – the custom variable face Universal Sans. Whilst that is super legible, it lacks some character and the ability to hit hard key points in presentations and pitch decks. What we loved about working with you guys (F37®) is how much character you were able to bring to it in the alt glyphs.
Now that your typeface has launched, what would be your dream project to use your F37® typeface on?
The new Nomad website, but we're also planning some kick-ass merch that it'd be awesome for.
What have you learnt through developing and creating your own typeface(s) with our F37® type designers?
That your team rocks! Love how they listened to the needs, but pushed things and tested what we wanted to get from it all. No doubt we ended up with much better face because of the dedication from the designers.
How would you describe your typeface in three words?
BIG. FAST. ENERGY.
