1. What’s the D-Lo on cookies?

Cookies are small text files of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. Cookies do not cause harm to you or your computer and do not contain viruses or malware. Cookies include Flash cookies, web beacons and any other term utilised for similar tracking software. Generally cookies expire at the end of your session on our website(s), but others will be saved for a while longer to try and improve your experience.

2. Yummy cookies and why we like them

This website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website(s). This helps us to provide you with the best experience when you browse our website(s) and also allows us to improve our website(s).

We use the following cookies:

  • Required Cookies. We use cookies to enable essential website operations and to ensure certain features work properly, like the option to log in or add a product to your shopping cart. This tracking is always enabled, otherwise, you can’t view the website or shop online.
  • Functionality Cookies. We use functional tracking to analyse how our website is being used. This data helps us to discover errors and develop new designs. It also allows us to test the effectiveness of our website. Furthermore, these cookies provide insights for advertising analysis and affiliate marketing.

3. Our favourite cookies

Whilst at present we don’t utilise many cookies, we may introduce more with an intention to improve your experience on our website(s), so please check as this section may be updated. Here are the ones we use right now:

Google Analytics - this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We have activated IP-anonymisation on this website and therefore your IP address will be truncated within the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be first transferred to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators (i.e. us) and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage. We understand that your IP-address determined within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held on you by Google. You can opt-out from being tracked by Google Analytics by clicking on the following toggle button. This performance cookie will be stored for around 2 years.

Honeybadger - provides exception and uptime monitoring to keep our website error and bug-free.

Stripe - is a payment processing service that processes all our payments for orders. These cookies aid in fraud detection. For example, the cookies provide data that helps Stripe fraud systems recognise the patterns of fraudulent actors and stop them prior to making the purchase to help protect our business. The expiry dates for these cookies vary from one day to 10 years.
