Bottled right from the source, F37 Snask has all the attitude, humour and irreverence Snask is known for, readily available in a convenient font file.
Based off the original Snask logo, the font boasts many successfully unconventional features that give F37 Snask its distinct presence. There is a haphazardly charming approach to letter width that feels at home in both Art Deco and modern environments. The asymmetrical letterforms, rounded corners and mixed stroke endings add cheek and warmth to the font. Also included are many alternate letterforms and a set of thin punctuation.

The Designer
SNASK is your future romance. A creative agency of misfit geniuses conquering the world through fine lookin' design and real emotions.
They seek to challenge conservative frameworks and they do it with their backs straight, supported by their unbreakable values. They don't cower away from the challenge, as they see that the magic lies within the unexplored. In order to be great - you have to be brave and bold. In order to be real - you have to stand up for your opinions and beliefs. And that is Snask - brave, bold and real. They excel at branding, design and film and refuse to do anything else than what they see as world class. They are doctors of disturbance, wizards of disruption and spokesmen of disobedience. They take on the responsibility to stay engaged, give a damn, and strive for empathy. There is a short word for this assumption of responsibility: Snask.
Interview
Tell us about the inspiration behind your collaboration with F37®×. If it was an unused concept, what was the potential use case for it.
Our intern Lukas Diemling helped out in realizing the Snaskface from a logo into a real bespoke typeface. Freddie, founder of Snask went to uni together with Rick, founder of F37®. So that's the connection!
When starting the process of creating your font, what typographic conventions did you look to break or experiment with? Or were there conventions of functionality you championed?
The starting point for the typeface was the original SNASK logotype. From here we wanted to maintain the quirkyness as well as something that broke the norm, still worked great as a typeface and looked better than Mick Jaggers ass in the 60s, actually a bit like our work at Snask.
Now that your typeface has launched, what would be your dream project to use your F37® typeface on?
It would look great on any flag of a dictatorship turned into a real democracy.
What have you learnt through developing and creating your own typeface(s) with our F37® type designers?
Proportions of letters is always a thing where you learn a thing or two. The charming guys from F37 gave us a lot of valuable and technical tips and feedback.
How would you describe your typeface in three words?
Bold, loud and Snasky.
